Lake Country Power has an opportunity for a full-time Utility Technician in our Kettle River, MN office. The primary responsibilities of this position are conducting account collections, disconnection and meter reading activities, handling and referring member billing questions, and problems related to: collections, membership transfers, bill payments, delinquent accounts, and other miscellaneous issues. Additional responsibilities include performing service order work, providing and maintaining records for various types of meter related activities for the purpose of customer billing.
Qualified applicants must have a 1 year certificate of completion from a college or technical school in basic electricity or a related field. Preferred candidates will have an Associate’s Degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a 2 year technical college or technical school in mathematics, engineering, computer sciences, or a related field. A valid MN driver’s license is required.
