Severe weather can happen anytime throughout the year. Although Lake Country Power’s electric system is built to withstand harsh weather, damaging storms can cause outages.
If you experience an interruption in electric service, the best way to report a power outage is to call Lake Country Power’s toll-free number at 1-800-421-9959. Our crews will respond immediately to help get your lights back on as soon as possible.
Please remember, phones such as cordless telephones require a connection to an electric outlet and will likely not work during outages. Phones that are hard-wired to telephone company circuits should continue to work. Cell phones will work if the battery is charged.
Calls are monitored 24-hours a day after hours and on weekends.
If you call 800-421-9959 during business hours, but do not receive a live agent because of heavy call volumes, please use the automated reporting service. This will help expedite your ability to report an outage, as well as expedite the restoration process. For more information about using the automated reporting service, please read the “phone usage tips” page within this section.
We always appreciate your patience while crews work diligently and safely during power outages. Once we know about your outage, crews will be dispatched immediately so your power can be restored as quickly as possible.
